Sales Development Representative

Location: Clovers is built in Nashville, TN, with an executive team and workforce distributed across North and South America. Applicants for this role must be located in the United States.

About the Role

We're looking for a highly energetic and well-organized Sales Development Representative (SDR) to provide pre-sales support who is looking for a role with upward mobility.

The SDR is tasked with identifying and generating sales opportunities through both inbound and outbound calling activities. A successful SDR will focus on a strategic, research-based approach to inbound lead qualification, targeted outbound prospecting, moving leads into and through the sales funnel, and setting up sales qualified appointments. This role is one of the first touch points for prospects and will set the tone for the entire sales cycle.

This position acts as a conduit for sales and marketing alignment. Your success will be determined by your ability to multitask, remain extremely organized both with your time and tracking sales activities, be able to develop relationships with current and potential customers, as well as the team that you will interact with on a daily basis.

What you’ll be doing…
  • Respond, engage and qualify inbound leads and inquiries
  • Cold call into prospects generated by a variety of outside sources
  • Schedule appointments and demonstrations for Sales Managers
  • 'Socially sell' products and services to prospective customers without pitching through a direct sales approach. Guide their learning and understanding along the early stages of the customer journey.
  • Nurture new marketing leads by educating and developing prospects until they are ready to speak with a Regional Sales Manager
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing team members on strategic sales approach
  • Hold intelligent and engaging conversations over the phone, email and social networks
  • Drive attendance for webinars and live seminars, and set meetings for conferences
  • Ensure successful follow through of sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in the Salesforce CRM
Who you are
What you’ll have…
  • Minimum of 1- 3 years' sales experience in SaaS
  • Strong cold-calling skills and ability to self-source leads
  • Hunter mentality with drive to identify and close on opportunities
  • The ability to work in a remote environment
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team
  • Capability of understanding customer pain points, requirements and correlating potential business to value
  • Strong and professional communication skills -- written, verbal, presentation
  • Aptitude to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently, while achieving production goals from assigned territory
  • Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables. Acts without being told what to do. Brings new ideas to the company
  • Contributes fully to the team effort by demonstrating a great attitude and team player skills

  • BA/BS degree or relevant experience

Base salary: $50,000-$60,000

OTE: $10,000-$15,000
