We are rebuilding the healthcare system by cutting costs, confusion, and complexity through direct contracts and payment with providers, deep data dives, and convenient patient care.
We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to join our team located in Austin, Texas or Salt Lake City, Utah. Your role will involve working with a contemporary tech stack including Golang, GraphQL, AWS Lambda, Serverless among others, to devise solutions that will have a meaningful impact on the healthcare system. Your responsibilities will encompass contributing to design, development, and ongoing maintenance of software solutions.
In collaboration with other engineering teams and key stakeholders, you will play a crucial part in crafting high-quality and innovative software. This software will align with coding standards and modern technical designs, supporting a state-of-the-art healthcare and payment application system that caters to employee healthcare, doctors, and patients.
How you will make an impact
- Collaborate with Agile teams to meticulously design, develop, test, deploy, and provide ongoing support for technical solutions within full-stack development tools and technologies.
- Demonstrate your enthusiasm for keeping up with the latest tech trends, exploring and adopting new technologies. This will involve active participation in both internal and external technology communities, as well as mentoring fellow members of the engineering community.
- Ensure the upkeep and reliability of robust healthcare and payment applications.
- Utilize your expertise in programming languages like Go, C++, or Java, as well as your knowledge of database technologies such as SQL or NoSQL databases. Furthermore, make use of container orchestration services such as Docker and Kubernetes, in conjunction with a wide range of AWS tools and services.
What we are looking for
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of dedicated software development experience.
- 5+ years of proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Go, Java, C++.
- 2+ years of hands-on involvement with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, or an alternative cloud service.
- 3+ years of experience in high-level and low-level software design.
