Job Description
Talan are seeking a seasoned Site Compliance Consultant to represent the interests of a landowner overseeing a large multi-stakeholder infrastructure development site in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on monitoring land-use compliance, safety practices, and coordination across various utility and data infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor stakeholder activities to ensure adherence to approved land boundaries and conditions for all Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) performance issues
- Identify and escalate unauthorised or unsafe works occurring outside permitted zones.
- Act as the on-site liaison for compliance matters with contractors and stakeholders.
- Participate in bi-weekly coordination meetings and maintain a register of land allocations, permits, and No Objection Certificates (NOCs)
- Report health and safety incidents in line with local regulatory guidelines.
- Support coordination on shared utilities, access roads, and technical interfaces.
Deliverables
- Weekly compliance reports and updated boundary registers.
- Immediate reporting of flagged health and safety issues.
Candidate Profile
- Vocational or university qualification in a construction-related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of construction experience, including site management or surveying.
- Familiarity with Abu Dhabi’s NOC processes and land-use compliance.
- Understanding of utilities and infrastructure interfaces (roads, power, water, drainage) needs to be demonstrable
- Knowledge of ADOSH-SF health and safety standards.
Additional Information
- The Consultant will report to the Construction Director.
- The role is strictly monitoring and escalation-focused; statutory HSSE responsibilities remain with individual stakeholders.
- Insurance and professional standards must comply with the governing framework agreement.
