As our first AI Lead, you will spearhead the establishment of SquarePeg's AI team, working closely with our engineering team before expanding your own team with top-tier talent in data science. Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of AI strategies in collaboration with the engineering team.
• Design and deploy innovative AI solutions, focusing on Graph Neural Networks, Machine Learning, and NLP, to automate and enhance talent acquisition processes.
• Design an AI roadmap for SquarePeg and then hire and manage a small team (PhD researcher, data engineer, and data scientist).
• Stay abreast of the latest AI research and technologies to ensure SquarePeg remains at the forefront of the industry.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI technologies into SquarePeg's products and services.
• Lead the AI team in developing scalable, efficient AI models that can be deployed across various aspects of the recruiting process.
• Ensure the ethical use of AI and data, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in leading AI projects, with a strong portfolio in Graph Neural Networks, Machine Learning, and NLP.
• Startup experience, preferably in B2B SaaS
• Experience in hiring and managing a team of technical experts.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams and other departments.
• Deep understanding of the latest AI technologies and their practical applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
