Job Summary: As a Jr Expansion Specialist, you will assist in technology configuration, software analysis, and workflow design within the Radiology/Imaging domain. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct analysis of existing workflows, and support the configuration of our software platform to meet client needs. This role provides foundational experience in healthcare technology implementation and prepares you for advancement to Senior Expansion Specialist.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with healthcare stakeholders and end-users to gather and document design requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Assist in conducting detailed analysis of Radiology/Imaging workflows and software systems, identifying opportunities for optimization and feature integration.
  • Support configuration tasks under the guidance of senior team members, focusing on meeting client specifications and best practices.
  • Participate in workflow design processes, assisting in the preparation of change requests and ensuring adherence to client requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining comprehensive project documentation, attending team meetings, and addressing project-related challenges.
  • Contribute to system validations to ensure functionality meets client needs and collaborate with others on test case design.
  • Support training sessions for peers and end-users on system configurations and functionalities.
  • Stay informed about healthcare industry trends and emerging technologies to contribute ideas for process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with healthcare workflows, preferably in outpatient imaging or hospital-based imaging environments.
  • Knowledge of clinical applications systems such as EMR and RIS systems is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, Operations, or equivalent experience/training.
  • Occasional travel (5-10%) to client sites, training, and industry events may be required

Extra awesome:

  • Exposure to healthcare radiology software/services vendors (e.g., RSG, IBM Merge, GE, EPIC) or consulting experience.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding of healthcare workflows ideally in Radiology (ex. EMR, RIS)
