Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications. In this role, you will lead testing efforts, design robust test strategies, and collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure the highest product quality. You’ll also mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to building a culture of quality across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and usability testing across web and mobile products.
• Build and maintain test automation frameworks, preferably with Selenium (Cypress is a strong plus).
• Conduct API testing for RESTful endpoints and validate WebSocket-based communication flows.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to debug issues, verify fixes, and improve deployment quality.
• Ensure applications meet performance, security, and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA).
• Use tools like Postman, JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr for test management and bug tracking.
• Participate in code reviews and provide quality insights to strengthen releases.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in testing.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 5–8 years of professional QA experience in web or software application testing.
• Proficient in manual testing and writing automated test scripts.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium (Cypress is a plus).
• Familiarity with JavaScript-based test frameworks (Jest, Mocha) and API testing tools like Postman.
• Understanding of WebSockets, REST APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS Amplify, Lambda, etc.).
• Strong experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid knowledge of SDLC, testing methodologies, and defect management.
• Ability to analyze logs and performance metrics for effective issue diagnosis.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Cypress or similar JavaScript-based automation frameworks.
• Background in healthcare technology, especially HIPAA-compliant systems.
• Familiarity with performance and security testing tools (e.g., JMeter, OWASP ZAP).
• Exposure to load testing, browser automation at scale, and network simulations.
• Knowledge of BDD/TDD methodologies and related tools.
